I know, another gun us common folk can’t have. I do have an original echelon that I bought when it first came out, and I absolutely love it. I’d say it’s a strong contender against the Glock 45. I wonder how the this Pro model compares? Reported MSRP of $899 kinda sucks.

Looks like it just has a different grip texture, stainless steel recoil rod, and flared magwell. Doesn’t seem like it’s worth buying if you already own one. 🤷‍♂️

Great move Springfield. This will be great when it comes to CA. I’ve been wanting to buy a standard Echelon for $350-$400.

so wait, this is just a stippled grip and a magwell? They already sell an "aggressive" grip module

That aggressive grip only comes in large though.
Very convenient for them to limit a practical product so they can sell a whole new model instead. I have one of the aggressive modules and it's really nice and I would have bought it in the compact size but....

Got the full size with the Icarus grip module, but I’d go for the pro for the compact as a very option.

Yeah but it ain't 400 lol
Fair enough, not where the market is on them yet. I just know when the extra super tactical pro he-man Echelon comes out, a bunch of people are going to be bothered by their plain old Echelon and have to have the most special one. All I want is the COG and no comp FS slide to put a MM grip and a good dot on.

for sure, they already sell the comped slide ones though this new thing isn't even really that different it's just an uglier grip module? Weird choice from Springfield
