The proliferation of commie rhetoric in the USA

Adding to the conversation, our money has been devalued tremendously. With no tangible backing for our currency, it’s way too easy to just print another trillion (or 50) anytime the gov wants to buy something..

In terms of cash value of gold, prices are at historic lows. But our currency is so low that prices are out of control.

I don't encounter this very often. In my experience, people do in fact want to work for what they have; the problem overall is that their prosperity is not linked as tightly to their efforts as it was for earlier generations. They are working harder, and longer hours than their parents or grandparents, and making very little progress in life, and again, they are being blamed for their "failure" to succeed in a system that seems to be working very hard to prevent them from actually succeeding.
You can become a millionaire very easily by throwing $100-200 into a brokerage account once a month from the age of 18-55. It doesn’t take much. At worst you’d have $500-600k which is more than most retirees in the country.

Funny thing is when I travel around here in SoCal all I see are brand new cars, affluence, and frustrated people. Doesn’t make any sense.

People want it now, without doing the work. They are right to be disappointed but their reasoning is misguided.

I believe people lack the responsibility to make educated decision on their outcome.

It’s much easier though, to blame a faceless regime of evil rich people who live to step on you. I don’t believe this is a realistic claim.

I agree with some things he says as well but am uncomfortable with his interview style and lack of clarity. I believe he is hiding something honestly.

The last paragraph here is interesting. What is the source of hopelessness?

Personally, I am okay with lack, or having plenty. My foundation of self worth is not rooted in materials, health, or anything worldly. But I realize I may be a minority in this.

My belief is people are too tied to expectation of outcome. They want the markers of what they believe to be success without necessarily working for it themselves, and are disappointed when other people don’t want to foot the bill.

Are you one of these hopeless people? Doesn’t strike me as such

Mundummy is not and will never be for America. He is definitely hiding and scheming.

Luckily I am not hopeless. I have a very good education and studied philosophy. I think of myself as a kind of Übermensch, I also have a sense of purpose and generally content with life because I have a great future.

However this is unfortunate not the case for many men. I think that this is why we have so many mass shooters. They have completely lost hope.

Another problem with society are woman. 20 percent of men possess 80 percent of woman. Most men need a woman in their life to sort of anchor them but society has unfortunately also brainwashed woman into becoming "girl bosses"

This is also causing MASSIVE ISSUES but no one will acknowledge this.

The most dangerous person is one who has nothing to lose.

If that’s the case, then why not focus more on the people who failed to teach and train them effectively?

I see a LOT of individuals who have been doing exactly what they were told was “the right way,” only to feel deeply betrayed when it didn’t work out at all as promised. You seem to be deliberately ignoring my repeated assertion that many are working hard, VERY hard, but getting nowhere because conditions are stacked too strongly against them.

People just don't know how good they have it here, plus propaganda influences. Look at the UK trying to pass a law where they can control the social media algorithms to force people to see propaganda content from their legacy media outlets

The problem is 90 percent of people DONT HAVE the money to put into a 401k

No one should be able to have a trillion dollars. I get it they create jobs..bla bla bla.

The world would much better if the workers all got a raise, then money would circulate. Also amazon has put so many business out of circulation.

AI will also be catastrophic. AI may be the single worst thing in our century.

I’m not ignoring anything. I just don’t believe it to be true.

I grew up in utter poverty in West Virginia, on a holler. To this day people are dirt floor poor there. The coal industry came and went and left a wake of financial insecurity that the state has never recovered from.

So instead of complaining and staying out, I left.

I moved to California, was homeless for a good while.

Didn’t have two pennies to rub together, sleeping in my car that I had to leave parked because it didn’t have gas, on bad tags, no insurance.

Then the car got towed. Still, I didn’t complain.

I didn’t get high, or drink, or say this is too hard.

I got my life sorted and now that lifestyle I was forced to live is a distant memory.

The most eye opening part of it was that it wasn’t hard to do, but it took way longer than I expected. And it taught me I needed to have better financial planning before taking risks, which I do now.

So realistically, I’m not ignoring what you’re saying. It’s just not as bad as you’re making it sound.

People are lazy. And if they’re lazy enough they should expect life to suck. They’re free to change it the same way I did.

I agree but 95 percent of people in your situation ARE NOT CAPABLE of succeeding.

Therefore the government must find a way to keep them in the loop. If not you get riots and eventually a revolution.

Idk man Elon’s company has been basically upholding the NROL efforts for the last decade and a half. Affordable high speed internet in remote portions of the world is a big deal as well.

AI is for sure a crap shoot though. My guess is the software will eventually assume humans as useless

So teach them. It’s hard for people to figure things out on their own, and you’re very rare and fortunate for having done so yourself.
I have. They don’t want to change.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve offered to totally fix someone’s credit. I’m talking an 18 month guideline to go from low 500’s to high 700’s. Or give them a budget, etc.

They don’t want help, or to work for change. They want to complain. They gather in little groups and give each other brownie points for how hard life is but never do anything about it.

I volunteer on skid row scooping food once a month. A small group of the people there accept help. I think it’s because they’ve reached a true rock bottom.

But yeah average people? Nah they would rather sit around, change nothing, feed their dopamine with buying crap they don’t need, and complain. That’s my experience anyway.

So where does the lack of capability come from?

Reason I ask is there a huge wealth of knowledge available out there today.

All I did was sit around and google things, then implement what I read. I didn’t do anything special or out of the ordinary.

You can give people the magic recipe but if they dont lift a finger they wont get any results. Most people dont actually want to do anything.

Most people are mediocre. You cant help them, so the government has to deal with them. Which is why Bernie, AOC and MoonDummy come in

That’s my experience anyway.

I’ve experienced more than a little of that myself, but there’s a lot more out there.

That’s where I think you’re mistaken: That is special and out of the ordinary. Most people are pretty average, and it genuinely doesn’t occur to them to do this completely on their own. It’s not because they’re stupid or anything, either, and many are happy to try stuff out once someone has shown them what some of their options are.

I get what you’re saying but I am starting to think they are basically captured by this rhetoric of soft commie talking points.

The craziest part about all of this to me is money isn’t even going to fix any real problems psychologically speaking. The bills are paid but humans have a convenient ability to find other things to complain about. Like what I’m doing right now about commies.

I have though long and hard about how to inspire someone to make steps to better themselves.

I think the only way it will happen is if they reach a rock bottom where they are defeated, and disgusted with their situation. Anything short of that will offer an emotional outlet, like pocket watching strangers and saying if they have this then I should have that

Well, I’ve said my bit. I think that it’s far more about the current system failing people in really huge ways, and far less about the goddamn reds under our beds.

Most people don't know we have been here before. American voters elected a bunch of social ists to office in the first part of the twentieth century. We even elected a social ist president, Woodrow Wilson.

Yes, they also called themselves "progressives" even back then to avoid the stigma of calling themselves social ists.

Like every generation some think they re-invented social ism. The youngsters always get caught up in it, mostly because it sounds romantic and they lack any historical reference due to a weak government school history curriculum.

The only question that should be asked of any social ist converts is "where has social ism worked"?

Then watch them babble or avoid answering.
