I get it if you are looking for parts for something.

I don't understand why you care one way or the other? I understand it's a long shot, but occasionally something can happen so why not put it out there?

They may post a WTB, but it doesn't mean they will agree with the seller's price.

Is it really worth posting WTB ads?
It seems to me (from reading comments at various sites) scammers always get involved.

What's the appeal of a WTB post:
No taxes?
Trying to find rare items?
Trying to get a deal?
All of the above?

Have you done well in the past with WTB posts?

I have posted only 2 WTB in the last 5 years and was very successful on finding a Colt Mustang .380, and now hope to have success on latest. (Norinco .45}
