But for real, as a relatively new shooter myself, I’m helping a lot of new folks get started with shooting and [responsible] gun ownership.
The first question - as we’ve often seen here - “what gun should I get?” And then “which gun should I get next?”
To which I respond “depends on your use case…”
I see defense, hobby and sportsmanship as the most common [non-professional] use cases or motivations and most folks are a mix of all 3. Some folks don’t like that question or they don’t know how to answer it: “I just want to shoot.”
I’m primarily defense (85%), then sportsman (10%) , then hobby (5%).
What’s your use case or is there another that these 3 don’t capture?

and doesn't want his subpoena for who knows why and drives home but then leaves. He finally comes back again and pulls into the driveway so I get out and make it to the driveway before he can get into the garage and into the house and I drop serve him. He must have been so pissed when he realized I dropped the subpoena - as I turned to walk away and was going down the driveway he charges at me with a metal baseball bat and tries to swing on me, I turn around as he's a few feet away and do the fastest draw of my life I swear, crazy adrenaline dump.
