Thinking of selling the Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp. What would you recommend as a replacement?

Different strokes for different folks. Good thing we're allowed to carry two at a time. IMO its the pinnacle of a backup "get off me" firearm and not the only one listed on my CCW (shield plus, p365 smoll/macro). I'd also worry less about it going out of battery if I had to shoot it from a jacket pocket with my back against the wall.

Shoots sometimes don't occur in clean places (ex. carrying in a restaurant that serves alcohol) and we live in a state where firearms are villainized (especially when modded) so I'll take any advantage I can get in court. It just takes one blue upstart DA/prosecutor trying to prove himself to make your life hell and sink you with court costs.

The ease of pocket carry is hard to beat and Jframes were made for deep carry just like the .380s.

Fun to shoot, yes IMO. Relic of the past? I'm not convinced it's obsolete yet, especially with .38 special +P 110 grain FTX loads.

16 rounds in a Walther PDP Compact with fast reloads vs 6 in the revolver with slow reloads

Also, if you like a revolver sure, use it. Free country. However don't make up fantasy justifications like the jury will like a revolver more. That is ridiculous and not based in reality. The facts of your case are what matters. And why are you planning on shooting someone where you didn't have clear cut self defense?

It is definitely based in reality. SB2 now regulates where you can and can’t carry and it at least makes you think whether a self defense shoot is justified or not depending on location. And it’s the DAs job to spin the facts to your disadvantage.

Also like I said, it’s not my only carry. It’s just another tool and my personal choice for deep carry that serves a different purpose than my other tools and covers all my bases. And good luck trying to fit 16 rounds for a “deep” carry.

Then why did the guy who had a self defense shooting in a massive county like LA, deep blue territory, not get charged with any crime or even arrested? Despite it being in a SB2 area restaurant that serves alcohol.

The answer to that is selective prosecution... Or... they will charge him down the road as the statute of limitations is 1 year misdemeanor or 3 years felony....

Well that's what he said. He claimed a jury will find him not guilty because they like revolvers more than semi auto. I know it's ridiculous and comical but don't shoot the messenger.

Nice edit. Nahhhh that’s cope. The LA district attorney is a Republican and LASD praised the shooter as a hero. Some of you guys want to be victims so badly despite California having pretty good self defense laws
