Hello, I heard this was the new and improved Calguns, without the fat fingered janitor!
 
My first post as a registered new member. My son mentioned this site when I said something about CG being unavailable again for yet another migration. I’m in no position to complain about the extended downtime for the migration(s), but it’s nice to find a viable alternative as I enjoy browsing the forums and classifieds just as I used to with CG.

The main thing I like following in CalGuns was really all the updates and Court cases regarding all the litigation at the local/State/national levels but after a while those threads always seemed to devolve into pointless political discussion or just went off -topic.

Secondly were the listings (and even the absurd ones just to make fun of them) but even then it seemed a lot of the other forums were just not as active, especially with how slow the site was. I look forward to this site's success and hopefully we get more people migrating over once they realize how great it is.

i got banned for a few days for trolling people with absurd prices on off rosters glocks. one even threatened to beat me up haha i threatened him to mail him a dildo to sit on.

Really it's the same guys talking about the downfall of 2A culture and how so many people aren't participating, the new generation needs to learn etc. etc. but then they try and go out ripping people off and get upset when they are called out.

Just a note, we don't allow trolling here either, BUT you can use a 💩 emoji on the post. We figured that was the best compromise to allow people to warn others without getting personal. We keep historic pricing here so price discovery is available but we don't want to alienate those sellers cause they might just be listing it to go fishing. If someone with $$ and not a lot of patience wants it right away, no one is harmed.

Also, listings expire here after 90 days automatically, which need to be relisted. You can get around them here with our search filter and setting a "max" price.
