I do a bit of USPSA and Tom's class was one of the best that sped me up. I'm in his master class program that offers video breakdowns and here is my first one. I've had some issues that I've been working on and here he points out the low hanging fruit to clean up and shave a bit of time. I noticed some of the things he mentions but not all of them.

If you're into that next level of performance shooting, I'd definitely check him out.

Maybe it'll help some others looking at the way they shoot. My Youtube channel should be starting up soon with firearms related content soon. I've mainly been doing other stuff.

Thanks for sharing this! I dig that Tom Castro offers this type of coaching using match videos. With his training course, how often are you able to submit videos for review?

Once a month for submission in his master class. I just wish I could execute better.

Time and practice man, time and practice. As long as you are making the time to practice the skills/lessons he’s supplying, you will see the improvement. Nothing happens over night, dues in the form of PROPER reps must be paid. Stay hungry man, you will get there. I look forward to seeing the progress in your match videos. 🤙🏻

I’ve been absent for awhile but still getting coaching from Tom. After applying some concepts from the first video. I’m shooting sooner with more confidence but getting more C’s and single digit D’s and M’s.

Getting to that next level means pushing the pace. My vision needs to pick up faster as called out.

The latest match review by Tom. If you see anything let me know or let me know where you’re at in your journey. I’m finding that there’s a critical path with certain fundamental. Once you get them, you basically class up

Wow, I am really impressed by the feedback from Castro. This is awesome. Some of the stuff was a little nit picky, as I have seen you reload better than what's on the video. But the up and down movement, that was so spot on. I do the same thing, so going to work on changing that. Also the vision stuff. The first person video really shows it more than the 3rd person.

Thanks for posting this.

I'm fairly consistent A now but haven't really shot too much as a shooter. I just need the consistency for M and fix minor details. The time is there, just need the hits. Lack of focused match practice/training is holding me back some. Hope to class up soon since the things I need to clean up are mainly mental. I can hit M runs and 80's but just not consistent because a few will dump me down in the 60's-70's.

Tom is good at teaching you how to move your feet faster and moving better.
