Too damn hot to pew pew outside... and I was feeling lazy anyway. 😂

There are a few stages that lean more defensive, but still not the level of an actual FoF scenario simulator.
I took a look at the image you sent. Do you have any other links you could share? I am reasonably tech savvy but this is one step removed in terms of what equipment I would need, software, computer, etc.

Do what ya gotta do! My little racing setup came in handy the week before taking my own car to Sonoma Raceway. It a mind-muscle connection.

Is there any way to feel the recoil at the moment? I've been waiting for better haptic gloves before I go into VR. I don't know much on the topic.

The sim racing setups are the closest to the real thing right now... my friend has a motion setup

I don’t recommend recoil simulation until it can realistically replicate the impulse and feedback of an actual firearm. Otherwise, it can mess with visual tracking, shot calling, and the timing between seeing an acceptable sight picture and breaking the next shot.

I learned that the expensive way with the CoolFire Trainer. Didn’t work for me at all. $400 lesson learned. 😂

This is the best I can do with limited space. 😅

I miss my runs at the Fuji Speedway and Tsukuba circuits.

What's sad is I paid for a year of iRacing sub then never used it lmao.... I have a similar Logitech setup but strong mount helps. Just got bored of it. Was doing AC

I went with the Fanatec ecosystem before the Corsair purchase. I hope Corsair merges everything (Fanatec, Streamdeck, etc.) well together.

I fell in love with and spent untold money on Initial D arcades. I dreamed for something like that I could own. Once I saw that Fanatec's BMW M3 GT2 wheel and ClubSport Pedals could provide separate feedbacks - I knew I was going to spend money.

A motion setup would be siiiiiiiiiick. Kudos to your friend! I designed my chassis system to integrate with my sit/stand desk. Remove the wheel+motor and we're back to office/gaming. Apartment living is not conducive to firearms or racing but it can be close to doable with some imagination.

Yeah I have a somewhat storable system with my Logitech setup but anything past that I need to own a house
