Hello there,

I've recently taken on the task of managing classes at the Richmond Rod and Gun Club. We have some really cool people coming to the Bay Area for the remainder of 2024 and the 2025 year.

These classes are typically intermediate to advanced. Richmond also has beginner classes and USPSA matches to get more acclimated to safe handling and fundamentals. Let me know if you'd be interested in getting to know more. Or if you had any instructors in mind that you'd like to see in the Bay Area.

@ikeo1 do you have a calendar of upcoming classes with descriptions and specific dates? I can't find details on the RRGC site, nor the Richmond Hotshots site. On the Hotshots site, clicking on Upcoming Classes shows two classes for October '23.

I don't have access to the hotshots website just yet...

For October we have Tom Castro coming Level I & Level II. Probably one of the best instructors coming around right now for competition classes.

This is one of the classes I highly recommend for competition shooters. Lots of rounds and individual attention. He'll really push your limits and then teach you how to overcome them. A lot of the top shooters at the club are alums from this class

Two Level I Classes which goes over quite a bit.

A little different direction from all the performance pistol shooting classes listed so far, but I really want someone to host John Murphy of FPF Training for his Street Encounters course In NorCal. It sounds like the ultimate 2 day foundation course for a concealed carrier.
