When I started shooting many years back it was mainly target shooting and it was all under perfect conditions: the right stance, the right illumination and the like. Life is never perfect. Usually when something bad happens other things will go as well.
So what does that mean to you? It means that you might be shooting one handed - strong or support... You might also need to reload one handed.
For me, the ability to switch hands and shoot one handed is worked into almost every shooting session that I have at the range. Usually about a third of my shooting is dedicated to one handed shooting. When I get the chance I specifically. Actually I try to go through all the same drills that I go through two handed, just not as many rounds.
How about the rest of you? Do you plan for the 'what ifs'?
