Pics Turkish Guns

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. Derya is Turkish owned but the dy9 I bought is manufactured in Florida and that’s where their customer service is too. I got the gunsmith Robs personal cell phone number and had great communication with him. And they paid for shipping both ways plus threw me a bunch of freebies for my troubles. Which company did you deal with?
Florida, EAA Corp handles the guns that are shipped from Turkey. They had them in stock but said it was against their policy to send one of those. They refused to pay for shipping even with it being new. And when they said it was defective and couldn’t be repaired you would have thought they would go out of their way to make things right.

Canik is refusing to ship customer guns back to California. We had 3 customers all with the same issue with the caniks, (failure to feed, refusing to go into battery), sent them off before December, Jan 1 rolls around, canik says they can't ship to cali anymore, they kept the guns. So now three customers are hanging in the wind out the price of a mete

I bought a Hatsan Escort MPA semi auto and it lasted 50 rounds before issues . At the time ( Covid panic) there were no other shotguns on the shelves and a buddy swore by his. I ended up replacing the stock, doing a complete disassembly and polishing everything, changing every pin and screw from pot metal to steel and changing out the sights. Locktited everything and used Remington compatible parts when possible. Upgraded the spring and follower. Spent as much as I would have a year later on a Mossberg. With shipping and ffl fees , it’s never worth buying an online gun unless it’s amazing . I keep it as a throwaway home defense shotgun . If I use it, the cops can have it. It’s unsellable.

Hatsan customer service does not exist. It’s got over 500 rounds through it since it’s been “fixed.”

Sounds illegal

My only Turkish at the moment: Hatfield SGL in 20 ga. Picked this up, new, in an Oklahoma Wal-Mart for $99 (plus tax). No waiting period. Just paid for it at the sporting goods counter and continued shopping for groceries. (A loaf of bread, a container of milk and a stick of butter, IYKYK).

I got it because my buddy at work had one and he talked me into it. It folds in half, it kicks like a mule and I love the damn thing. Although I'm seriously considering a recoil pad.

My only regret is not buying another two: in 12 ga and .410. Silly me, I thought $99 shotguns would be around forever!
