Just finished up a full review on the Savior PRO S.E.M.A Competition Backpack after running it at a few USPSA matches.
Biggest takeaway?
This thing is less of a “range bag” and more of a mobile workstation.
The organization is honestly the standout feature. Dedicated pistol storage, removable admin pouches, possible magazine organization (with added pouch(es), rigid frame structure, weather resistant materials, locking zippers, and the ability to keep all your match gear exactly where you want it between stages (if you so desire).
One thing I really liked is being able to strip off all the extra weight between stages. I can throw the pistol, mags, belt, tools, etc. right back into the pack and not carry all that gear around unnecessarily while resetting or walking stages. Then as soon as I need it, seconds later all geared back up!
Pros:
* Excellent organization
* Very durable materials
* Rigid frame structure
* Dedicated pistol compartment
* Comfortable to carry
* Great for USPSA / IDPA match days
* Water resistant construction
Cons:
* BIG bag (good and bad) doesn't store well if you want to toss it in the closet for example. Takes up 3x the room of equivalent non-rigid frame packs
* Easy to overpack since you can organize really well
* Can get heavy fast if you’re not careful
Overall, if you’re a competition shooter or somebody who spends long days at the range with pistols, this thing makes a lot of sense.
