Hi, Im new to the gun world and didn't know how strict california is to guns smh. Before purchasing my first guns Ive always wanted a Glock 19 since Ive shot it and felt it but the ban happened. Guess i was too late. but im looking at usagunbunker and so far from what I heard if you can add it to cart, it can get shipped. Has anybody ordered from them? specifically firearms?

Glocks haven't been fully banned yet, it happens this July 1st. The gen 3 is still technically on the roster and can be legally sold but it will be pretty difficult to find at a reasonable price, everyone is taking this FOMO opportunity as a way to sell them for way over what they were bought for.

Yeah youre right, trying to find one out here with decent pricing is like finding gold lol

You can only acquire Glocks via private party in person now, or in person from a gun store if any happen to still have Glocks. As of January 1st, no more could be imported into the state. Whatever is currently in the state is all that we can get. Really your only option is to find one private party and buy, but it will come at a higher price tag since you can't just go buy them anymore.

Also I haven't used USAGunBunker but if you are trying to find a good price, remember that when you buy online whatever FFL you send it to is going to have their own transfer fee for using them as the middleman. If you are dead set on a Glock 19 it may just be what you have to pay to play if they really do go through with the ban in July.

Have you shot any of the clones/competitors like Shadow systems (which will also be going away in July). Might be worth a shot and I know they are a bit easier to find.

Yeah might as well stick to the clone I have for now or until they release a california compliant version

I recently got a Derya DY9 and going to shoot it this weekend and see if it felt like the 19

put your car in drive and wave to gen 3 Glocks in the rear view, you ain't missing anything get one of the plethora of better pistols that are on roster and optic ready. The DY9 is great go and shoot it .

S&W M&P 2.0's...the better Glock
I mean that isn't wrong. I like shooting my friend's Glock 17 but the M&P just felt right, no other way to put it.

Didn't think it would technically qualify as a Glock replacement but to OP you would be hard to find someone not recommending that or the Echelon in today's market. Both awesome guns.
