Velocity Ammo Issues Again? 🤬

I read somewhere these guys are just shipping stuff as they get it, meaning they don't actually hold any inventory to sell lol, good luck getting the ammo though, hopefully they come through for you guys

As someone who has been a part of a small B2C business, it's a 💩 hole of a trap to be in. You need to sell to get funds to ship prior orders out due to sudden expenses and overhead that pop up out of nowhere. However, you can't get more funds without selling things you don't already have yet.

I'm not condoning what Velocity is doing but I feel for them on some level. They're probably all nice people and provide good customer service when you reach out but damn, it sucks for both the business and customer.

Yes, there have definitely been significant ammo shortages in the last few months with some brands not shipping anything to dealers. I suspect these guys and others got behind the eightball thinking they could sell off pending supplier orders, but the orders didn't show up. I had a similar experience with True Shot ammo in April. They advertised 1000 rounds of Blazer 115Gr for $255 out-the-door. After a few weeks - no ship. I read online people's orders were auto-cancelling after 30 days but if you contacted them they would offer you a different brand. I contacted them a few days before expiration and sure enough got upgraded to Fiocci at the same price, so it worked out in my favor in that case.
