Veterans Day….

(I’m hoping my attempt at posting a new thread works.)

Let us all remember, especially today, the sacrifices made throughout our history by veterans. I performed a small bit of service in the army for three years. One of my brothers did the same. Another brother served in the Air Force for 22 years. And I have two nephews as well as their father who have also served.

May they and their sacrifices, and the sacrifices of all veterans, never be forgotten and be remembered always. They all have kept our country strong and safe.

Thank You all for your service and sacrifice.

I spent this morning in Clovis at the Veteran's memorial District, each Veteran's Day they put on a pancake breakfast, car show, blood mobile for donations, among many other things throughout the day.

Later in the day went to In-n-Out where they treated me to a free burger lunch.
It was actually one of the best times at In-n-Out, they were very friendly, a guy delivered our meal to our table, and there were many other veterans in the room.

 
I spent the morning at Brea, they had a nice ceremony honoring all the veterans, the school choir did a great job of singing some great songs. Very nice turnout and the sky was beautiful. Here is a photo of the planes flying overhead at the start of the program.Planes.jpg
 
I got fat on Veterans Day.

Wendys->Dunkin->Starbucks->Dennys->Sizzler->Lucilles->Lil Caesers->Starbucks->Boba->Dave&Busters->In N Out->Red Robin->Olive Garden->In N Out->Starbucks.

Before y'all say anything, most of these places are about gun-control, so why not if free?
