How do you like the compact metal? I've read the metal is slightly snappier than the compact poly but of course the metal feels more premium and looks awesome.

I love the feel of the compact but I haven’t had time to shoot it yet. These M&P’s are the first handguns I prefer a metal frame over polymer.

Bought a whole LEO trade G17.3 in for $319, sold the slide and barrel from it for like $250 or something, so I could have a spare G17.3 frame to go with the massive Glock spare parts inventory I have accumulated (i.e. all those springs and bits and bobs are useless if the frame randomly cracks or something).
