What hammer fired handgun would you buy for around $1,000

When I said what people "should be doing," I was referring to resetting the trigger in recoil.

With regards to switching between guns: being in the business of selling guns, I like to have experience with the different firearms we carry in the store so I can give the best info possible to customers about how a particular make/model performs. Additionally, I am a shooter moreso than I am a collector and I like to put rounds through whatever I own whenever I can. Lastly, and most importantly - with proper fundamentals, you can literally shoot most guns with no issues. I've been shooting Glock exclusively for 15 years and since starting work at Elite, I now shoot matches with those, M&P9, Beretta, Sig and 1911s. The big difference is usually between guns with optics and those without. When it comes to triggers and other controls I never notice it. Even going from 9mm to .45 wasn't really a big deal

Curious where you see recently sold Extremes for around $800...looks to be market priced. I just went through our classifieds for the past year and came up with none. The pics look good for showing condition and the listing states "On Roster" so obviously with LCI & MD. Grips are highly subjective to personal preference and easily changed if needed. Also, many prefer internal components (such as SRT) to be factory installed thus covered by Sigs' famous lifetime warranty.
Google, many listings across the USA

Well guess you have to see what it sells for. If it’s still here in a month there’s your answer. @RustVendor paid like $500 or $600 for his and it’s the same exact gun minus the SRT kit. Plenty of deals out there
