What is an off roster handgun you would NEVER spend money on?

Honestly I would say that (with rare exception) none of the off roster guns are worth it given the premiums they command. There are very few off-roster handguns that truly do anything that an on-roster counterpart does not. I would say the big factor nowadays would be optics ready models vs non-optics ready, but even then, more optics-ready are being added to the roster every year and many popular models have aftermarket optics cut slides available..

Now if someone is a collector then functionality vs price is not the driving factor in the decision

I don't see where anything that user said demonstrates Fuddism. To be clear, a Fudd is someone who says 'I support the Second Amendment, but....' in an effort to try to demonstrate their 2A bonafides while simultaneously supporting some facet of gun restrictions promulgates by the anti-2A crowd. The term 'Fudd' has a specific meaning and applies to a specific subset of the gun owner (but not true 2A) community.

Also, TDS is a real affliction suffered by millions of Americans all across the country. One's Opposition to Trump does not necessarily mean one has TDS. One's suffering of a mental/emotional break due to excessive preoccupation with Trump does usually indicate TDS.
