Could be that the 2k series was discontinued or two people with money who really wanted it got into a bidding war. I know I've gotten into wars on ebay before and ended up paying more than I should have a few times.

It's such a great carry gun, not sure how the bigger model is, it still doesn't seem full size. I had people low balling me like $20 a magazine when they're $60 new. Glad I kept most of those because they'll probably just go up in price. I still don't see $1250 or even close to it. Even $800 is a little crazy. Can't find one for $500 anymore

turners was giving p2000 and p2000sk with $400-$450 discount two years ago, and I believe last year as well. I almost got one, but it didn't feel right in my hand. Bought Beretta PX4 instead, was crazy discounted too - $300 after cash rebate. Another very nice and underrated gun

It’s all about personal feel. I wanted to like the PX4. As soon as I put it in my hand it was an immediate no for me.
