I've come to a point from my life experiences that holidays are overrated and in a matter of personal opinion that it has become burdensome and a nuisance, even my bday which I haven't celebrated for almost 20 years. I tell my wife and kids not to, instead I buy my mini-mes presents on my bday.
Yea, sure, I splurge here and there on my bday, but I buy it for myself, and most of the time, the item gone before my nexr bday.

is thinking of the good times with the ones that I have lost over the years, you can’t take those memories away in fact they get better at Christmas.
