Yea. Most of these items I look at, and see $ that could be used elsewhere or new gun instead of what it could look like on my current builds. And I could build few complete with bcg/ch uppers from these parts, have the know-how, and have all build tools, but I'm a lazy mofo.

But since C2C is unaffected, they may go to better hands in future.

I see no mention of magazines there. On a funny note, that very day SIG turned me down, I ordered two P220 mags from gunmagwarehouse.com. Received them Saturday.

Ruger customer service told me they couldn't send me a spring for a PC Carbine. They said that residents of California would have to send the firearms to them.

I ordered some magazines from gunmagwarehouse yesterday. I needed to provide my drivers license and will need to sign for the delivery. Which law specifically is restricting the shipment of magazines (stock, 10-round ones)? Magazines are a consumable, like ammo.

I had a coupon from Sig but they won't ship magazines to California.

Legit just did the same about 15 mins ago. I was wondering the same thing tho im not so well versed on this new law to know what's being restricted. Im assuming most of these companies want to do business with CA so they may just implement this for anything coming to CA just to be safe. At least it wasnt a difficult thing to accomplish. They sent me an email requesting a Pic of my ID. Easy to reply with an image and they released my shipment. Annoying, but at least its free (in most cases). Now having to stay at home within a 3 day shipping period to sign for it (because nobody else in my household with my same last name can apparently sign for it) is the actual burn. And if it gets returned to them they reimburse less a 20% restock fee

Been studying the ghost gun bill, AB-1263. I guess, even though a basic magazine is not a "Firearm accessory" (as defined in the bill), it is a "Firearm-related product". And "Reasonable Controls" are required for sale of a "Firearm-related product".

The bill specifically says that proof of identity is required "Prior to completing the sale or delivery in California or to a California resident of a firearm accessory or a firearm manufacturing machine, as those terms are defined in Section 3273.50, or of a firearm barrel unattached to a firearm, a firearm industry member shall comply with all of the following requirements:", which doesn't include the basic magazines.

So maybe vendors are worried that reasonable controls will be interpreted as requiring a signature when they are sued.

Went to grab my food delivery and lo and behold my package from gunmagwarehouse was sitting right there on my porch with a huge sticker on it stating signature and proof of ID required. They had dropped it off 2 hours prior. Usps is the way to go it seems lol
