I usually shot in Nor Car: EDPS in El Dorado and CAPSL in Sac Valley. Also hope to do some more IDPA in El Dorado

EDPS is too far from me but I’ve seen the stages, they look alright.

CAPSL makes some great stages, especially their memory ones. Not as good as SWPL or Richmond but definitely some Level 2 stuff.

After years of Area matches, State matches, Nats, Outlaw matches, along with shooting at minimum a match every weekend, I'm down to just shooting locally in Concord at USI/DAP. Planning on hitting SOAP soon, just forget to sign up mostly before it's full

Is there a membership required? I would totally drive up there from Sac for practices. I have found out the last couple weeks it’s really hard to get registered for matches around here…. Though I did manage to register for the EDPS match on May 2nd

I don’t think it is required. But it is only $50 per year. So if you shoot 5 matches year, you brake even.

Ok yeah I’ll just join. I joined Solano Targetmasters too so hope it helps me be c able to get spots in matches

Pala 2-3 times a month. If rain isn't too bad this weekend, will be there this Sunday.

One of these day's i'll make my way to Prado for a match... I shot RoadRunner at CAPSL and was supposed to do Coastal Classic before the whole debacle.

CAguns is spreading its wings.. We sponsor a Jiro in SoCal, not sure if you've seen him... Hopefully we can make it down there to squad... I'd like to try some of the stages down there..

He's a very promising up and comer.

Pala is my one and only outdoor venue these days, but I hardly attend anymore. If you aren't a member, it's pretty slim pickins for open spots once regular reg opens up. I almost always register and almost always withdraw Don't care enough to drive any farther than that for a match and other hobbies get me going a lot more than shooting. Iron Sights has two indoor run and gun matches per month. I could easily get by on just those. Also not the easiest matches to get a spot.

Im doing my first competition in July at Manzanos. I Squadded up with a bunch of great competitors who have all offered to help.
I plan on shooting alot of weekends in Richmond.

Kyle said if these matches do well, Coyote Valley will be investing in more shooting bays. Pretty cool stuff for USPSA in the Bay Area these days tbh

Escondido Fish and Game steel combat match, 1st Saturday of every month. I have shot that match each month for almost a decade now. It's 20 bucks and 100 rounds. Time Plus setup, 5 stages, 20 rounds, 2 reloads per stage. Really fun and perfect match for beginners getting into competitive shooting

Though I will say it has started to go on a downward spiral ever since the staff that actually participate and make an effort to interact with the members and guests either left because of what the board of directors were doing or were forced out by the same 50, 60, and 70 year olds board of directors that don't shoot and are angry all the time. Sad to see the place I practically grew up shooting at become what it has.

Lou Paz and Brian Lamb made that place somewhere you "want" to go to. Now it's just a bunch of old folks running the match with no enthusiasm and don't even compete. Really sad to see, I hope it changes
