My December renewal just got sent to me and my coverage is dropping for $1 million to $500K and my cost is going up to $3800/year!

I have USAA, been with them since I was 18 and they insure both home and auto for me. Not the cheapest but, CS is fantastic and never had an issue with their claims process. I pay $4k/ yr for 3 vehicles (one is an $80k truck) $1m liability, $250 deductible for comp, and $1m umbrella liability coverage. You need to be military or child of a military member to join.

I’ve been with Wawanesa for 20+ years. They’re now owned by AAA, so it remains to be seen if they stay as excellent as they’ve always been.

Have home + auto with them. Great rates and amazing service.

USAA is fantastic if you are eligible. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Also, Hageritys for classic cars or any “vintage” vehicle that doesn’t get driven that often.

ANPAC here. $2200 per year for 2 vehicles, full coverage in San Diego County.

Avoid companies with expensive advertising. I love the gecko too but I don't want to pay for him.

Oh ya, they dropped my liability limits from $1M to $500k and are raising my rates by about 25%, Unfortunately I don't qualify for USAA, but I have heard a lot of complaints about them on ARFCOM lately.

I’ve had USAA for 50 years. I’ve got a subscriber acct that returns % of premium each year. Sizeable amount of cash that will go to
my estate. 10K+. Pete

I forgot that IF I were to quit USAA now and go to another insurance company, that 10K would be given to me. Back in my day the only people that were USAA members were officers or their families. I had a commission in the USNR from 71-77 but I NEVER
served on active duty. As a licensed merchant marine officer,I was REQUIRED to take a commission if I were physically able which I was. At the time the Navy did NOT want us civilians in the Navy. As a licensed merchant marine officer,I was qualified to stand a bridge watch on a merchant ship or a naval vessel. A man graduating from Annapolis can only stand a bridge watch on a naval ship ( with a lot of help)!! Sorry for the rant, just a little info for those that may be interested. I’m not trying to denigrate any service member who actually did serve—- I did not.
