Since it's apparent that Sig is making a P385 for California, who is looking forward to this pistol? I'm not going to lie, im kind of intrigued...

yeah they are coming. semi intrigued. more interested in the rumored p265

They did list 2 part numbers for the P385 that looked like for Commifornia.
But with the 385 just being released and not expected to be in stores for another ~2 months we wont see the CA one for at least a year if were lucky

I would consider selling one or two of my 365s to get a 385. Haven't been sold on it yet.

Oh chit, really? I love the 365 and I got a bunch of 320 mags. I'll get a 385 if it isnt outrageously priced. I could sell a couple Glocks.

A mystery so far. Based on SIG nomenclature it suggests modern slimline hammer fired akin to the P365. DA/SA or SAO. TBD.

Sig trademarked p265 and some other moves which they usually do before they produce a gun. The rest is guessing. GENERALLY a p2** means hammer fired DA/SA with SAO option. The speculation is the 65 part means it’ll use p365 mags so therefore would be smaller than the p220/226/229

Since I can use all my P320 mags I am pretty sure I will buy one. At like 13-15 magazines that's almost $800+ that can share 3 platforms. Probably going to wait for someone to resell a used one unless they're just that sick. This year I learned how the vast majority of gun owners don't even shoot their guns lol so it's so easy to get like new used guns

It's best just to forget about these guns and just be happily surprised in a year or two when they pop up randomly with no warning or advertising
