Who's still up watching the Dodger Game!

Not even invested in either team, but had to stay up to see the outcome. Now I can sleep for work!

Used to feel the same way but they've made a few changes to speed things up.
Pitch clock, auto-walks game is much faster paced and the innings fly by now.
except of course when the game runs into 18 inning or basically two complete games in the same night!
 
Grass grow? Comparing the two 18-inning games, this was substantially less time. Credit to what JamMan mentioned.

And it was very much like two complete games and, two very different ebb and flow. I was watching the early innings and decided Duck the Fodgers, I should be watching the Grizzlies at Warriors. Great basketball game for the home club and when it ended, I tuned to the World Series channel to see the result. Damn, it looked like a replay was on until I saw the inning was the ninth. WTF? Settled in to watch nine tense innings compared to the roller coaster scoring the previous nine. Dramatic finish, instant classic and a nice evening, all the way to nearly midnight, of sports. Good day.

Except for the endless delays and commercials. Pressed "record" at 5 last evening, started to watch the actual game parts at 7. Good 2 hours of baseball that caught up with the 'live' game in time for the finish.
