The better question is why is the roster even legal. Always been amazing to me how politicians love to cite the Constitution and the importance of upholding it except when it doesn't work in their favor

California will somehow be legally allowed to implement their own rules. I mean when the supreme Court says no man and women's sports in California says we're going to do it anyhow, then really how much power does the supreme Court have. It's like a shell company at this point
The roster may technically be legal statewide but only because CA, or more accurately its idiot politicians do whatever they like regardless of logic. Even if we could get rid of that retard bonta and abolish the roster and all other anti 2A stupidity, they would simply pass another stupid restriction to oppress our rights.
