They were hoping to get it handled through Safari precision, as it’s their barrel. However, they do seem to be bullying to help me out if they continue to be incommunicado.Well poi being a little lower at closer distances is normal due to trajectory. But the being maxed out on elevation is going to be a problem. 12 inches high at 12 yards, means you would need to adjust 96 clicks down, if your 507k red dot is 1 moa of adjustment at 100 yards. At 25 yards, you need to go down 25 clicks.
Zaffiri’s website says 48-72 hours for response time. Maybe check your spam or promotional/social folders to see if it accidentally went there? Or search “zaffiri” in your search bar of your email account.
I have heard the same about what @Bobalover209 mentioned about zaffiri being hits and misses for their barrel tolerance issues.
First thing you can do for now is just clean that barrel.
If they don’t respond, I would say either change the optic to one with more of an adjustment range or change the barrel to a nicer brand. Either or is going to set you back some more money.
I would just change the barrel to a different brand. I havn't tried aftermarket p365 barrels yet (still using the factory) but have heard good things for p365 barrels about agency arms, ballistic advantage, and true precision.
You could also give holosun customer service a try and say hey, I’m maxed out on my adjustments at 12.5 yards; but don’t say anything about the aftermarket barrel.
Did the shop say they would help you out? What did the shop say about helping you out?
So, the shop is doing the contacting for you? That’s good they are trying to help you out as you probably paid more than if you would’ve bought it online. “Bullying to help you out?” What? They were hoping to get it handled through Safari precision, as it’s their barrel. For now, I would just focus on the free options which is time waiting for response. Be nice to the shop since they are helping you out, it’s not their direct fault, you don’t want to be the took it out on them guy; especially if you plan on going there again. Just shoot with your p365 Oem barrel for now.Sorry, I was doing voice to text, and I meant to say they are working to help me out. I don’t know how it got “bullying”
If they are a zaffiri dealer, can they do an exchange of the barrel for him? They can’t just file the original one as a defective product? But that means they would have to deal with it later as a loss compared to waiting for zaffiri’s response to confirm a reimbursement or what?So there's state and federal law called the Implied Warranty of Merchantability/Fitness that says that goods have to work for their intended purpose. So the dealer has to give you a refund even if they are being a motherlessabout it. The gun industry tends to like to break the law when it comes to these sorts of things and I kind of get it because they are all running on paper thin margins and are all stressed out from processing PPTs all day, but the fact remains that they can't sell things that don't work so just get a refund and never buy Safari parts again.
The same law applies to Safari as the dealer, so dealer should refund and then Safari refunds or exchanges the dealer. Whatever happens it's not on the customer to take the fall.If they are a zaffiri dealer, can they do an exchange of the barrel for him? They can’t just file the original one as a defective product? It's a comp/barrel combo that goes into the stcok slide. Is this a comp barrel inside an OEM slide? Was the slide modified?
Or a comp added onto the end of the slide?
Definitely...they're a really good shop. I won't do anything to hurt that relationship. For now, I would just focus on the free options which is time waiting for response. GoodFor an update...
The store I bought the barrel / comp made it right. They gave me a full refund. I really beleive they are one of the best stores to deal with...good staff, and good customer service. Fine Firearms in La Mesa.

That's why they gave me the refund. They were obviously disappointed that they didn't respond, but what could they say. I was grateful they refunded me.What did they say about zaffiri responding or not?
I'll be sticking with the factory OEM one.Good. You could spend that same money towards a nicer brand of barrel if you are truly set on installing aftermarket match grade or just stick with the factory Oem one and buy ammo instead
.
I think maybe they might just have to deal with filing for some kind of defective item later through their distributor or maybe even do it directly through zaffiri somehow later if they buy from them direct. That's why they gave me the refund. They were obviously disappointed that they didn't respond, but what could they say. I was grateful they refunded me.
