Still? I would call. They had posted they had updated their policy to what other vendors are doing. This was about 3~4 weeks ago. Their shipping policy FAQ shows they will. If you place an order, it said you will get a follow up email with instructions for Californians.

READ REGARDING ED BROWN.

Ed Brown recently changed their policy and will ship to California. They have a great magazine exchange program if you're inclined:

The form still shows they won't ship to California but that was back in the new year. They recently changed the policy.

Pics of the feed lips and followers of your magazine without ammo might help too.

I run Metalform 9mm 1911 mags with the spacer at the rear. No issues.
