2k11 Rumor... (not good)

Can confirm that a retail chain instucted all their locations to return Kimber 2K11's back to their warehouse last week.
 
Well, I'm pretty excited. My local shop finally got in some 2K11s, and I just did the DROS on a 5" stainless Comp. The gun is very nicely fit. Slide to frame has just a bit of movement and is very smooth, barrel fit is excellent and the trigger is great. Overall, very pleased and can't wait to pick it up and get it on the range. Cost before tax and DROS was $1849.95. Now waiting for the shorter comp gun...

Wow! That's a smoking deal. It's going for over 2299 in my area before fees.

They're not advertising their prices since they are so much lower than everyone else.

They stated they ordered directly from Kimber as soon as they announced the CA 2k11, so their pricing is able to be much lower as a result, but for some reason Kimber has been sending the 2k11's to everywhere else instead, even distributors. Incredibly frustrating for them and the customers.

I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another you've been messing around.
