2k11 Rumor... (not good)

My only guess is that they hate me personally, and want me to fully pay for product that I can't sell.... it's diabolical.

Kimber sent a few guys to Bob Marvel classes (per AJP), so I assume they took away a lot of good lessons on how some the best in the business do things. I’m sure that’s trickled down into some of the 2K11 design choices.

Also, I think Richard over at Eleven71 has good things to say about their machining tolerances as it relates specifically to their willingness and ability to provide specs for better plates. Anything is better than the awful CHP stuff.
 
Have a bunch waiting for the Roster add and have not heard about this rumor at all.

Having the LCI repainted is a small setback on the grand scheme of things though. Hopefully Kimber will sell you an extractor (unlike Staccato, but I'm happy to be proven wrong) to replace the one that comes with the CA models.

LCI's don't really bother me. Now the mag disconnects, those tend to fall out 🤷‍♀️
 
Kimber 2k11 LCI was just for looks, not function. Roster rejected, and all sent back, per a FFL I frequent. The FFL told Kimber to refund it all, and decided not to stock PoS company Kimber's guns.

Kimber 1911 owners - did yall know your 1911 has plastic main spring housing?

Kimbers are crap.
