4 killed, 10 injured in shooting during family celebration in California. They should start pulling ammo background check logs. That’ll solve the case

Obesity-related illness is the 3rd leading cause of death in America. Have you ever considered banning spoons? If the answer is no, then ask yourself why not.
Why ban spoons? Shouldn't we ban the companies that create addictive foods and sue them for damages because they are manipulating people for their own profits.

I think food companies should be held more accountable and at a higher standard. The average American struggles to make the right food choices and most of them are ignorant. We don't need added sugars in 99%? of the food that's on shelves.

Yes. But holding corporations accountable for their greed is "socialism" or "коммунизм" and you just leave those heckin billionaires alone they create jobs and let their wealth trickle down to us or something.

And in the meantime, you can discover the liberating value and virtue of personal responsibility.

Locals are perceiving this event in a whole different light. Stockton street cockroaches do not care who they hit. We've seen this back in 2016, 2022 etc. Even the cops don't care who gets hit in the crossfire, Rest in Peace Misty Holt-Singh.

What are the chances the offenders are not allowed to own or buy guns in the first place. Buy yeah, lets create some more bs anti gun laws.

Those who commit this kind of violence especially with no regards to children is the exact reason we need the death penalty reinstated. Some animals just need to be put down.

Losing weight is easy all you have to do is eat less food. You can eat chocolate cake all day and lose weight. Obesity is a great way to let other people know you have no self control.

The common sense clause says Americans should be informed enough to know better. I am, sounds like you are too. Restricting the freedoms of people to save hypothetical common denominator types doesn’t help anyone. It lowers the standard of living instead of bringing others up to where they ought to be. The average American is a complete and useless dip💩. Maybe we should try to make them smarter and more capable before acting on their complaints in extreme and permanent ways.

Doing that is why I have a maglock on my rifle. And no freedom of choice for my pistols. Pandering to the dip💩s.

That’s the word on the street. “According to sources the targets of the mass shooting tonight at a child’s party were Stockton based rappers MBnel and Fly Boy Doughy, the party was reportedly for rapper Nano’s daughter. These reports are coming from the streets and sources in law enforcement, but remain officially unconfirmed,” reported 209 Times.

Edited to add: And now the mayor of Stockton is basically confirming that this was an act of gang violence . .

If you call it terrorism you get tons of ice funding and surveillance support over your citizens awesome for the people of stockton

How do you feel about firearm manufacturers and ammo companies?
I think they're cool otherwise I wouldn't be here. They're irrelevant to the conversation about food though. The only thing maybe in common is if there's a way to help control for lead exposure from a manufacturing perspective but I wouldn't sue for damages but more public awareness for lead exposure I think is absolutely necessary.

I partially agree with your first sentence. Not everything is that black and white. People have differing food drives that makes it a lot difficult for them compared to you. Has nothing to do with self control for some people. I'm happy to point you to good podcasts on this topic if you're interested in exploring this more and not being so ignorant. Also I'd like for you to eat chocolate cake all day and report back a 10lb weight loss and let me know how you feel.

Dr. Lustig in a video talked about how it's possible to alter the manufacturing process, replace the "unhealthy" ingredients, and it has no affect on profits and has a much better long term impact on population health. This was done in Kuwait.

Large corporations have complex hedging structures to derisk the volatility of commodity prices of their supply chains. To presume that ingredients are selected for their "nutritional value" or what consumers actually want is missing a lot of what actually goes on here.

It's more about how effectively you can advertise and what you can get away with than it is making a good product. Can I convince enough people to eat sawdust with chemical paste glue? If yes then we've got a great deal going.

I used to weigh 345lbs. I’m 160 now at 14% body fat. I never stopped eating what I wanted. You just control portions and stop stuffing your face like you’re living for dopamine. It’s easy.

It’s thermodynamics. Calories in vs calories out. It’s every bit of self control. No one has ever cut calories and gained weight. Doesn’t happen.

Wouldn’t be the internet without a stranger jabbing at another stranger though.

Sorry you need that to get through your day. God Bless.

Losing weight isn’t a victory, it’s the bare minimum.

The conversation is individual responsibility vs corporate responsibility.

The wolf and the blade.

My belief is the individual is responsible for their own life. That’s all.

“Fat shaming” culture is why everyone’s fat. It made it okay to be unhealthy. Same reason why everyone’s a sloppy shooter who leans in accessories to bypass skill. No fundamentals. No discipline. All flash.
Kids killed by animals, but sure, let’s talk about weight. Got it.
