Unfortunately this doesn't work at least for the popular commercial forwarders. They flag firearms related sellers shipping into CA including eBay sellers.

They don't even need to go t the post office anymore. I recently discovered you can schedule a USPS pick up for free. This worked out wonderfully for me because work was so busy for a while I couldn't trip to the post office during their business hours.
I've been pretty lucky thus far that I can find things on eBay, Tacswap or GAFS. For things I can't find, my FFL is pretty cool about ordering for me for a small fee. This law sucks donkey balls but we just gotta find ways around it for now.

Here's my AB1263 eBay
story from last night. So I've been looking for this S&W Extended Mag Release for M&P OR HD Competitor. I found one and paid for it. Today I get a notification CANCELLED and I look - of course it's SOLD. 
Seller didn't attempt to contact me, just cancelled. I should have used my out of state contact address which would have been no problem, but I didn't think this would cancelled. It was a small seller and the only gun part he had for sale.
Learn from my mistake, don't risk using a CA address if you have an option.

I'm finding that some sellers ( yes CGW, I'm talking about you ) won't even allow a California billing address regardless of the ship to.

Countermeasures would include a virtual CC using privacy.com, etc. but you would still have falsify the billing address on the merchant site in this scenario.

Here’s another AB 1263 annoyance.
10-8 Performance makes a nifty tool that makes for removing the firing pin block on 1911s super easy. (This is usually a giant pin in the butt but necessary to remove the extractor for thorough cleaning.)
Tried ordering one and noticed 10-8 doesn’t even have California dropdown on its checkout page.
Sure enough, they decided to boycott California entirely …

I'm surprised you need a tool though, I just use a punch to push the firing pin in past the stop and then scoot the firing pin stop down with the punch.

Ca is making it very hard to be a gun owner. They won’t ban all guns but leave you a couple choices saying they support your 2nd amendment.
Meanwhile to obtain one will be hell and to keep it maintained even harder. And think it’s bad it will only get worse. I thought it was bad late 90s early 2000s.

for sure, I will say that I like a tool for removing the extractor, 9mm extractors generally have a longer tooth and get stuck so you gotta push it in to get it out, I got the tool from shooters connection that you just shove in the breech face.
Yeah, that’s why I wanted 10-8’s 1911/2011 firing pin/extractor combo tool too.
