That was the most profound quote from that article. And unfortunately, it was also the cold hard truth.

Perhaps, but if it is a real name, it wouldn't be difficult to find him. Using tools such a the automated firearms systems and other LEO databases it is easy to see which Youngs own firearms in San Jose and narrow your search from there. Not saying that they will do this, as it is likely a waste of time, but you would be surprised how many databases there are to find out what you want.

Retired LEO - May 2021 and 100% pro 2A. Never thought it was fair that I was able to purchase off roster firearms or standard capacity mags when the general public is excluded.
I am new here, but have a decent history at Calguns under the same name.

No, i don't think so. There was an incredible amount of time to decide and buy. I work at a major shipper and ammo is flowing through our systems today (and i expect a few more days). As long as sellers marked the orders as 'shipped' within the time we had, they sent them out. I have not heard of majors shippers reversing orders

you nailed it, that is the entire goal of CA DOJ: regulate, tax and add friction to the gun/ammo purchasing process and ultimately frustrate both buyer & seller into submission. and it works so they'll never stop throwing up hurdles, heck I've only purchased a few new things since they added the 11% tax on top of our already ridiculous sales tax

This was a quote from the article, not my words. I do 💯 agree with it. It is exactly what has been happening in CA for decades. It is illegal, and our judicial system knows it. For all intensive purpose the courts are worthless. Even when gun owners get thrown some bread crumbs, CADOJ and the state comeback around with more sinister regulations than the ones before.
