How long did you wait to get the Mean ARs upper??
7 months and 9 days
Order placed 2-17-25 and order shipped 9-26-25
But worth every single goddamn dollar. Once you shoot it there's no going back to a direct blowback AR9.

have you tried the maxim RDB?7 months and 9 days

have you tried the maxim RDB?
I was just curious how much nicer, I've tried a JP5 side by side and the JP was maybe 10% better, fairly negligible for the cost. I personally don't find it that hard to charge it even on stages where the magazine starts out of the rifle but I can see why some people don't like it.I have but the Mean Arms is nicer. The Maxim system made it way too hard to manipulate the gun I thought it became a liability. The ability to use standard AR sized mag with the Mean Arms setup is huge when it comes to training equipment. My AR9 mags fit all my standard AR mag pouches.
Now....I don't think this is for everyone because how expensive it is and the amount of lead time it takes BUT, BUT, BUT if you have a registered AR lower and you only wish to have one AR9 to rule them all then this definitely for you. The smoothness and the logistical advantages from this setup is very hard to beat.

oh ok, I hadn't heard of the FM bufferless 9mm, I wonder how they are doing it. Their bufferless AR15 was kinda janky from what I heard. on the low end it's hard to beat the maxim, everything else is 10x the priceI haven't tried the JP5 and I don't think I will considering the cost. But if I find a nice cougar then that might change.
Foxtrot Mike is coming out with a bufferless 9mm front charging setup and I think that might be it for most people who wants a step up from the simple blowback. These unique roller delayed options are really expensive to be just plinkers.

Awesome! I have the upper, a registered ARP lower and a ton of high quality parts. Missing is the time to build it out!I have a build with Mean Arm’s bearing delayed upper on a standard AR lower using ejector-less mags and it’s on a completely different level of smoothness compared to the traditional blowback guns. I even kicked my MPX to the curb.

I think mine took about 5-6 months. I was worried they wouldn't ship mine by 12-31-25., so I reached out and explained SB704 would end up costing me more time and money. They said they would do their best and sure enough it arrived on December 31st!How long did you wait to get the Mean ARs upper??

Link is broken, no longer exists.Endo mag ships to all 50 states.
"Restricted States: YES, we DO ship the EndoMag® to all 50 US states. We also have a Restricted State EndoMag available for those that need the EndoMag already installed in a PMAG. Check out that product for specific details."

No, they do not ship to CA.
What did the epc9 need and what were the issues?Respectfully, hard disagree. I have both the epc-9 and colt mag adapters. Epc-9 needed a lot of aftermarket parts to work well.
Epc9 issues were mostly resolved outside of the new ones they added. What did the epc9 need and what were the issues?
