Sig is way too cheap to make a one piece barrel & comp. You gotta take into consideration the Sig p211 is made with MIM and plastic parts.

Nighthawk and Atlas also aren’t doing one piece Island comp barrels. Staccato seems to be the only one biting the bullet on these.

For Stealth Arms the one piece barrel comp is a $500 upcharge. To go from the C3.6 to the C4X from Staccato is a $1100 (or something close)

Alpha Foxtrot's Attila is another one with an integrated one piece barrel comp. I think the MSRP is about $1200. I think Sig should develop one and just upcharge the restricted states. CA, WA, NJ and NY are restricted states where the residents have higher income. At $2900 ($500 mark up over the free state GTO's) is still much cheaper than a XC.

The GTO’s 3d printed comp was supposed to be special in its design. No idea how much more effective it is against something like Staccato’s.

I am Law Enforcement and I recently bought a Walther PDP PRO X. The comp was pinned on the barrel. The FFL I had it shipped to would not allow me to dros it and sent it back to Impact Guns. They said even though it is pinned on, there is a threaded barrel underneath and it's not allowed in CA.

I don't know how that particular comp is attached but the rules are that it has to be permanently attached which typically means more than a removable pin. It would likely need to be welded as well.

Scott may have had a conversation but they have not announced anything on this topic. In fact, there is no publicly available formal CADOJ determination letter or information bulletin specifically naming the Canik Prime Radian as an assault weapon. Or the Radian Ramjet etc.

Let's post verifiable information about stuff like this. Probably important to say out loud that the roster (Unsafe Handgun Act, PC 32000) and an assault weapon determination (PC 30515) are two completely separate legal tracks. Both have documentation.

For an AW determination, CADOJ's typical mechanism is an Information Bulletin published to FFLs and law enforcement through the Bureau of Firearms. Dealers are notified and seizures will happen at the FFL level (like the TTI), which is exactly how that enforcement chain works. A formal published bulletin would appear on the CADOJ Information Bulletins page under the DLE series. This forces a more deliberate wide reaching response.

The absence of a DLE bulletin doesn't mean CADOJ hasn't made a determination — it may just mean they haven't chosen to formalize or publicize it (yet). This is where Scott may have real information. But, for now, it doesn't seem wide spread or verifiable across the FFL network. The example in this thread around the P211 is, while Route66 has taken an approach of Buybacks etc, LAGuns continues to sell them on consignment along with other FFLs.

Considering you need to remove the comp to take the barrel out I don't see why this would be permanently attached.
