Barrel Sale / Transfer

Some of y'all would raise your hand to get permission to use the restroom in your own home.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Frankly, they aren’t meant to be enforced. They are meant to chill the 2A community in a “Death by a Thousand Cuts” incremental infringement of our rights. They want us to give up, either at the owner, sales or distributor level.
I agree with this.

I can handle 1001 cuts

Just sent my G20 slide and barrel off for C cut/ porting and it has to be sent back to an FFL even though I already own the MF. One of my go to shops is willing to accept the shipment for me, for $40. Pain in the ass overall.

It definitely doesn't have to, they are choosing to make you do that.

Nothing like having to succumb to a background check for an unserialized private property item. 10 years or less in California is going to be third world country

Damn, I would've found another place

Yeah, just covering their arse I guess.
Incidentally your FFL is also ripping you off, the FFLs here will accept items from companies that don't want to deal with the AB1263 stuff for like 10-20 dollars.

Follow up question, advantage arm 22lr conversion for glock, that would have to go through a ffl?

If it's a barrel, yes. Doesn't really matter what purpose the barrel is for, as long as it fits the legislation's definition of a firearm barrel.

Now, will CADOJ care about a 22lr conversion barrel of all things? That's a question only you can answer for yourself.
