Best looking gun made today!

That hammer bite, though!
I desperately want one of these. Nice compliment to a 1911 and half the cost to shoot it. Supposedly, the redesigned hammer on the SA35 fixes that. I also saw article where someone welded/formed a nice beaver tail on one.

Beauty is subjective! This needs subcategories lol. My Current mood still sits on a P7 M13 Stainless w/ walnut grips

Not mine!
Beauty is also a welll-understood science, which is why artists are distinct from non-artists and paid for their interpretation of ideas to the visual. This is what separates a good makeup artist or stylist from the not so good. This is the very process which shaped the logos we like most for this site.

Sure, there's some subjectivity too, but if an artist is tasked with drawing someone or something that is beautiful or heroic, the artist knows what to do and the viewer agrees when the art is successful. The lay person recognizes beauty but may not necessarily know why.

The way we view beauty in objects such as planes, cars, and guns follows the same rules. There's a lot of geometric math involved, along with flow, balance, symmetry, proportion, etc. Even in human faces, we as viewers tend to prefer symmetry, and the standards for beauty are universal.

Compare a Ferrari 360 Modena to a Pontiac Aztek and one can see the stark difference. Yet, this is why the homely and awkward Aztek was such perfect vehicular casting for Walter White in HBO's "Breaking Bad".

In engineering, form follows function, but elegant and beautiful design is the best of all worlds.
