Bodyguard 2.0 vs Glock 43X CA

I own the BG 2.0 CC, a 43X, and a Shield Plus (and a Shield X).

At the range, there’s no comparison between the trigger and feel of either of my shields compared to the 43X. I keep the 43X because it’s a Glock, and I’ve carried them for many many years. However, if I choose a nine mill compact to carry, it’s generally my shield plus.

The bodyguard 2.0 is in a class by itself when it comes to a 380 auto. I have owned just about every version of the LCP, including the LCP Max. Nothing shoots as well as that bodyguard. I can shoot the 2.0 carry comp and it shoots as easily as a full-size 9 mm for me. There is the limitation on ammunition, but realistically as a concealed carry holder, you’re not out there trying to be John Wick. You’re out there to defend yourself. Should the unthinkable find its way to you.
It’s encouraging to hear you would choose the Shield plus over the X. Oftentimes that’s one purchase I second guess. I love my Shield plus but occasionally wonder if I would have loved the X more.

I don't own either one but still considering both for EDC.I was just wondering how many of you who own the bodyguard would have got the 43X if it was available at the time you got your gun.I'm still leaning toward a compact 9mm but everyone I know who has the bodyguard 2.0 loves them.
I love my G42 eats everything, bodyguard jams on a lot of ammo its ammo specific so beware before you buy.

I don’t own a shield plus so take this with a side of skepticism.

I think the plus vs the X is kinda almost two different categories. The plus is a half size smaller and, at least in the store, felt good but small. The X is almost big enough to fill my hand properly, and it’s a very good shooter for its size. They’re not far enough apart that I want both, but they’re different enough to notice. If I didn’t have the BG, I’d probably be thinking about a plus..

How many rounds do you have through your BG? Mines gotten pretty tolerant of different ammo at about 600 rounds.
The issue with the BG from what I heard had to do with unusually shaped butters like underwood’s extreme defender / penetrator. I’ve shop some through mine without an issue. However I carry the Federal HST 99 grain hollow points for defensive use.

You should regret not using a PDP compact

I just recently bought the BG 2.0 to replace my SIG 365 for CC and I have zero regrest. I do not have the Glock, and I am not a huge fan of Glocks so I don;t know weight and size difference. The BG though, is hard to beat for concealed carry, and it shoots great. I don't think 9mm vs .308 is that big of an issue to be honest, but the weight and size difference makes carrying BG a winner.
