I use the 3M Peltor eep-100 for buds, Impact Sport are solid and always good afforable go to's, and the Sordin Supreme Pro's. They all kinda hurt after awhile of usage. The impacts are probably the easiet.

I've always wanted to try the custom ones

I'm always curious of good buds though

Assuming you are talking about buds for music, they won’t stay in my ears. I use Grado SR80’s. Sometimes I use AKG K271’s.

If you are going to use them for sound protection while shooting, forget both of them and use ear muffs designed to protect your ears while shooting.

ive been using a set of Raycon's. I use them almost daily for work as well as at the range.

I know they arent advertised as 'shooting' or what not but they work fine for me.

a lot muffs like walkers don't have a very high rating of 22 or 23 db reduction, the 3M peltor buds go up to 30 if you use the right tips. The most protection you will get are custom fit in ear.

This reply is worthless because I’m old but I have AirPods and I typically prefer over ear headphones but my wife got them for me but my GD ear canals are two different sizes so the left one fits great and the right always falls out. I’m not even sure if they still make any phone with a cable Jack anymore

Etymotic/Otto/Saf-T-Ear in-ear pro is excellent, blows axil and Isotunes out if the water. They cost at $400 but totally worth it.

I'll second Otto's. Expensive, but very good sound quality.

I'll third Otto. Everyone I know that owns Ottos regrets wasting money on lower end stuff. NoizeBarrier Micros have been good to me the past 4 years. Foams work better than flanges. I would get the Westone Audio Foam Fit Kit from the sweetwater website, figure out your size, and buy that foam size in the bulk pack. Replace as needed.
