What belt and holster do you run for a government steel frame 1911? That's an awfully heavy gun haha, hard for me to imagine it being comfortable

I'm planning to get into the EMP 3" and 4", I've come to love the 1911 trigger

I was skeptical, too. I went with a 1.75" custom two-tone horsehide belt from A Better Belt USA, which I found through the custom holster maker I used (Garrett Holsters in Texas). With this sturdy setup and a IWB holster, my full-size, full-rail 1911 feels weightless. So yes, it can be done!

Garret makes a great holster and they can build for oddball guns. They made me a holster for a p226X5.

For my 1911 Government Model's the holster I use is the Cutthroat, from Wes at Privateer Leather. It's the most comfortable holster I own. The belt that I use is from Bullhide Belts.

p365 99 percent of time in fanny pack, thought i would rotate with my glock 27 but like having a lighter load. Wear my safariland holster appendix when dressed up and fanny pack when not feasible

How's that K6XS? Looking to rent it somewhere but can't find it.

I like it much better than my LCR 38sp. Much more comfortable to shoot. Accuracy is fine. I swapped out the stock grip for a smaller Kimber option. just fits my hand better.

Springfield XD sub compact 3”. It’s a good tool but a bit on the thick side. I’ve owned it for 17 years now and it’s still going.
