FUDDS BE FUDDIN’🤡🤣😆

So, the SOP there is 1 shot per two seconds. I think it also depends on which RSO you get watching your area. Some tend to be stricter and by the book on the 1 shot per two seconds. Some may count a little faster, so as long as you are on target, not mag dumping, don’t seem like a new shooter, and safe; they may not mind if it’s slightly faster.

The pistol range is another good topic to talk about of that rule, 1 shot per two seconds is not practical to practice for defensive scenarios; and some of them know that. But if the shooter goes slightly faster, but their target looks like birdshot; they are most likely going to say something then.
There were a few indoor ranges in the Bay Area that allowed a more rapid fire. Sadly they are closed.

What I have done is start shooting USPSA to be able to shoot at a more rapid pace to better practice self defense shooting.

For the slow paced shooting, I use it as an opportunity to focus on my grip and some other fundamentals and practice one handed and weak side shooting.

In the early 1990s, I saw someone with an MC Hammer poster as his target. It felt really wrong. Not surprised how ranges changed what targets you could bring.
I could see a Diddy target... but what'd Hammer do you the guy?

I essentially lived right across Aviation at Skydance for years, back in the 90s and woke up many a Saturday morning to steel ringing (or those goddamn balloons). It was neighbor's complaining even then, most of which was unjustified, but it got worse when more folks moved in downrange of the berm. They have been trying to get that range shut down for years. And the stupidest part is a bunch of the issues at the time came from LEO day, which was Spray N Pray Tuesdays back then IIRC.

we have lost so many places do to 🐚s buying next to ranges, race tracks, farms, and factories. When I was in dip💩s in SC would call Camp Pendleton to complain about “the noise”.

You buy a house up against a military base then piss and moan constantly about noise.

They almost took down Laguna seca too. And the noise requirements make riding there a nightmare

They will eventually. Those people are F-ing 🌮s! Standing on the corners with DB meters and just general 🐚 behavior. They have so much money and nothing but time to keep up the pressure on closing the track.

The track basically won the lawsuit
