I think rap ruined Glocks for me.

Glock 20 only Glock I have but that MP 10mm is very intriguing

I’ve heard people have issues with the Glock 20 (gen5 at least) with hotter loads; the whole point for me would be to run a hot load for bears and if it can’t shoot the 200/220gr heaters I would just carry my .40sw Sig. I’ve also heard the M&P has issues with the mags dropping out while shooting (not from bumping the mag release but from some kind of internal issue) which is scary especially if you have a mag disconnect and a bear or cat is charging you.

I really want a 10mm but honestly not sure which direction to go… leaning M&P despite the issue above but hoping for more options soon, or maybe I’ll just get a revolver in a big boy caliber…

Theres always the p220 in 10mm if you want to pay off roster prices for a legion sao. One day ill get one

I try. I find actual data and experience is overrated when the anecdotal evidence can be just as convincing

That’s not data it’s just experience. The association is enough for some people. Marketing and branding is a thing so totally understandable.

Cheap and reliable and easy to use. 2011’s aren’t used or 1911’s because they are expensive and hard to maintains

2011’s would be my recommendation for sophisticated sir’s

Same concern here. I'll probably be out another $200 for a KKM barrel and wolff 21ish lb spring for hot loads. I don't like the idea of needing to drop another $200 so I am delaying as long as possible. I'm keeping the factory barrel and springs exclusively for target ammo.
