This bill ought to die. Is there anything we could still do?If this passes, and you plan to stop participating in serialized gun purchases when your FSC expires unless you want to spend hundreds to thousands extra for CA CCW; the last day to get your FSC or to renew is End of June 2028.

Maybe that was your thought on the matter?Yeah ive read about the subject in my many years of being alive, Theres more options than just planned parenthood too but you seem to understand how the reduction in crime can appear. Socioeconomic status is a high driver of crime, but back to the original thought on the matter. Do you think government should be involved in medical decisions between doctors and patients?![]()
Full sponsorship also wasnt part of the conversation either. I only brought up a doctor and patient doing their thing. Abortion isnt used as a form of contraception. FDA doesnt intervene on pricing and other government entities as much as you think, see some hormone medicine patents being bought up and raised in price from 2k a vial to 29k a vial with no say from the government.Maybe that was your thought on the matter?
Because that wasn’t the dialogue of the conversation.
I lean on pro individual liberties. Therefore an individuals freedom to seek an abortion can hold. I don’t necessarily support full government financial sponsorship of abortions.
My moral standing is not for abortion as a form of contraception. My moral stance is personal responsibility. That has no bearing on my stance for individual liberties to access.
To argue government being involved in medical decisions.. is a moot point when you truly look at it. FDA approval or some form of approval is required. That’s government intervening on medical decisions.
Do we want the free market to decide the cost of prescription drugs or do we want the federal government to intervene on prescription drug pricing on behalf of the people. Where are you drawing the line in the sand on this conversation. When it is convenient?
Wtf, then how do you buy a gun to train and practice with to take the class? lmao. GOD DANG LIBURALS!!!!!!ZThis bill would require an applicant for a firearm safety certificate, on or after July 1, 2028, to complete within the prior year a training course no less than84 hours in length that, among other things, includes instruction on firearm safety and handling and live-fire shooting exercises on a firing range. The bill would authorize the Department of Justice to promulgate regulations and provide additional information for the implementation of these provisions.
From the bill text
Yeah i have no idea, can you even rent or borrow a gun to do a training class with?Wtf, then how do you buy a gun to train and practice with to take the class? lmao. GOD DANG LIBURALS!!!!!!Z
Perfect!! that gives five years for litigation, which usually takes 10, but you could make a lot of purchases in that five years and not worry about it ever againIf this passes, and you plan to stop participating in serialized gun purchases when your FSC expires unless you want to spend hundreds to thousands extra for CA CCW; the last day to get your FSC or to renew is End of June 2028.

Most abortions are used for convenience. Maybe contraception isn’t the right word as conception happens. But it is used to abort gestation for convenience in most cases. So you’re splitting hairs there for no reason.Full sponsorship also wasnt part of the conversation either. I only brought up a doctor and patient doing their thing. FDA approval is the authorized use of drugs not necessarily the price of drugs. That’s for negotiations etc through Medicare,Medicaid, ACA, etc. two different topics.
95.9% of abortions are elective. Call medicaid get back on your meds grandpaMost abortions are used for convenience. Maybe contraception isn’t the right word as conception happens. But it is used to abort gestation for convenience in most cases. So you’re splitting hairs there for no reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel all of the current ones. When I got my first FSC card in 2000 it was good for life. A couple years later all of the lifetime FSC cards were invalidated and new 5 year ones were required.I'm wondering if and how our current FSC's will be considered. Will we be forced to apply for new ones or will they still retain their 5 year validity?
If our current ones are good to go, you can expect everyone and their dog lining up to renew their card in the weeks before the bill is in effect.
