Is anyone still carrying a P320?

What DA/SA do you use and carry?
I am committed to DA/SA. P-01, soon getting a full size Berreta 92 brigadier. And strongly considering a Rami. Especially if I can get a decocker version but may settle with CA roster Rami.

P2000 isn’t off the table yet but really not feeling it.

P2000SK, love it. But idk if you can find one. They are the perfect carry size and can take the 12 and 15 round P30SK mags

The question is why? Why not just carry something else? It's not even that nice of a gun to be worth any risk. there's so many different guns to choose from why that one lol

That's like saying don't carry a 2011 since they aren't drop safe

It's a do it all sort of gun from a premium manufacturer

I've done all I could to my p320 to make it ND Dropping it and everything and still nothing. Honestly a great gun in my opinion. And I do own glocks and S&W's as well so I'm not coming off as an sig fanboy or anything. I'm just a guy who appreciates guns. This is mine with the metal Brouwer grip module and 5 inch expansion slide w 3.9 inch barrel.

@Gawernator, you’ll be proud… I showed my wife a picture of Rami and P2000sk and I asked her which one. She didn’t even flinch and said P2000sk. I need to get one in hand. I know there is some model of p2000 at Triple A. Not sure which. They also have 1-2 Rami. So it’s time to find out!

Because of all the back and forth with you and your willfulness to just ignore the facts I'm going to waste my time with you one last time to hopefully give you pause on deciding if it is safe to carry a P320 loaded. Again I agree no one has yet duplicated the uncommanded discharge, but and this is a huge but it doesn't mean it will not happen again. A manual or trigger mods makes no difference and will not fix/cure the problem.

The designer that worked for Sig is Brian McDonald who partnered with Angled Spade Technologies LLC. The patent number for the sear block is: US20250164203A1 (titled "Firearm Safety with Sear Block").

I'm not sure why everyone assumes anyone who post problems with the Sig P320 is somehow offended if you post something about a Glock.

Just to get this straight you're stating the in 2017 when Sig did their "voluntary redesign" by adding a thinner trigger shoe, lighter sear/striker, and a mechanical disconnector that Sig said this will fix the uncommanded discharges? Also these problems will not happen again?

IIRC there have been more than a few video taped uncommanded discharges with the last 1.5 years which is quite a few years after 2017 so I'm not convinced that the problem was solved. Also a engineering firm along side of a former Sig designer stated the trigger is incomplete and unsafe since the safety blocks the trigger movement not the sear. The P320 relies on a block that is in the FCU unlike the "Glock, P365 and others that utilizes a firing pin block incorporated into the slide hence no uncommanded discharges. So yeah it's not fixed by Sigs voluntary redesign. Also how does Sig try to protect themself? Well in 2025 Sig change their instruction manual in the P320 to state not to load the chamber until you are ready to shoot.

I’ve avoided the whole P320/P365 trend because I’ve never been able to warm up to Sig’s. I can’t hit the side of a barn from the inside with one, haha!!

Worth a try. Be aware the angle of the barrel/grip is different on Sigs than Glocks. With that knowledge, start out "trueing the Sig" at 10 yards one shot at a time so your brain learns the impact point/aim point differential. Know also Sig's impact point is different, think of the red dot sitting on top of the front sight not the middle of the dot. That's a lot to do on the fly without some slow-mo practice first. You'll know right away once its gotten drilled into your head- guranteed to make you smile.

Had a lot of fun with upgrades; trigger, barrel, slide, springs etc. Is very consistent now. Target is at 15 meters.

Ahhh no that's absolutely not true. It's called the "just as good as" example by comparing the Sig P320 to the most popular and proven reliable platform out there. All the treads on uncommanded discharges the pro P320 posters always compare the growing pain/failures claims to Glocks.
