Is the P320 market dead?

From what I see radian weapons removed their p320 ramjet from their website.

Here in Cali I don’t see a huge drop in price for new p320 but I do believe the platform is losing popularity. That being said I love my p320 build and I run my m18 with the rogue gun works comp barrel and I have a full size ported upper when I want change

With the latest FBI report being shared around about the p320 I have being a lot of discussion about people selling off/not being able to sell off their p320, and overall uncertainty about the platform.

Do you think the market has gone soft for the p320? I got a custom works p320 scorpion and can’t help but to wonder.

The independent studies and reposts that have come out, most recently by Bruce Gray (GrayGuns.com) have proven that they cannot fire without the trigger being moved all the way to the rear. I’ve seen people set them up for failures but never since 2013 when I got my first, still in-“upgraded” version when I was teaching at SIG Academy and I’ve never seen anything like the crap we see people pushing. Not a single independent source has been able to reproduce this failure but some will believe anything.

Why is SIG wrong for "how they handled it?"

This is not a complex scenario. Their product was blamed without any evidence, the worst being a lame study by the FBI that proved absolutely nothing. And a bunch of clowns on YouTube capitalizing on the situation to get their likes and subscribes.

SIG defended their product. Naturally. With the same pride and confidence they would defend themselves against the anti-guns.

A product that has been tested over millions and millions and millions of rounds by themselves, the military, law enforcement and the public.

You and me would "handle it" in the same way, with vigorous defense, if our money, assets (and ass*s) were on the line. We're not going to back down and admit to something we didn't do.

We would defend what we know is RIGHT, against people trying to blame us for their own mishandling, and trying to getting money out of it.

If there were any problems or “drop test” questions or concerns, you can bet CA DOJ/BOF would have banned them first.

Yea I’m not abandoning the platform. I actually renewed my p320 on my ccw rotation this past month.

What legal process would the CA DoJ use to ban a gun that has passed the drop test, and now "concerns" or "questions" arise? Please explain. I'm my opinion, there is no such process.

Has the UD been proven one way or another yet? Everything online is mostly speculation, or old news. I read something about a prior engineer on the Sig program has Patented a fix but who knows if its true or not. Every time there is a UD gotcha moment, seems like it gets debunked, mostly. I like the P320 platform overall, but its not worth the headache atm for me to buy one until the UD is lain to rest.

Obviously getting all 4 elements together is a rare scenario, but the fact that it's repeatable is a pretty big step. To me, this shows that if anything is out of spec or mixed up from the factory, you can have a hand grenade.

Just a simple question:

Are there any stock factory guns that have come with all these "conditions"??


Wrong parts installed, wrong assembly method, broken or missing parts..

Not trying to debate anything here, I'm just curious if all those conditions have ever be found in a stock factory pistol?

As a dealer, I can sell anything to the uneducated. That being said, I still have one P320 left. It is tan and great camouflage for you hunters out there. You need it. I will cut you a deal. Don't settle for those inferior brands. Buy a P320 today!

Ha, that was funny. For a hunter you just sold right there. If they are not carrying in a kydex holster, just the hard fabric one that attaches to Alaska guide creations or marsupial bino pack; they don’t recommend one in the chamber anyways, so they should be good to go.

To a degree, yes, of course, but there's clearly an issue with the P320 in particular. The design of the pistol is clearly at high risk for a potential cascade of failures leading to a ND if there are minor out of spec parts. I doubt all the p320s that had NDs went through these exact steps. Most people probably did not, for example, have a .45 takedown lever installed. But how much difference is there between a 9mm takedown lever and a .45? 1mm? Less? I'm obviously not the guy doing these tests and I don't know much about the p320 at all, but the fact that this is reproduceable, even as acknowledged by the biggest Sig Shill of all, Bruce Gray, means that there's an issue that Sig likely knows about.

You can even compare it with the P365, where we see plenty of sloppy work by Sig (rusted sights, striker drag on earlier models, etc), but no mass amount of NDs.

And instead of admitting that there's a problem and fixing the pistols, they're claiming that their customers are anti-gunners.

All the P320's have been ordered to return back to service.

It's probably about time we all return back to regular programming as well.

There are many more exciting things to argue about, like which is the best gun, a Glock or 1911?
