for what its worth im on both sites, im not a fan of this one but also cant get onto the other consistently so I've basically given up. This is the new life raft for all of to jump to from our sinking ship that works "sometimes"
Just some rats on a sinking ship looking for the next calguns life raft @ikeo1
'tis much is true... but it'll never be known as the "original"... always mentioned after... sorta like Coca-Cola and PepsiIt’s not the “new” Calguns it’s the “better and far superior” Calguns
I hear ya.. I was a member there for ~13 years.. I got started with 2A there. I was trying to save it but some people took it the wrong way. I and others recommended to revert it back and then fix the issues to get all of the data back, but what can you do?Only to always

We hit 190 earlier, new record..131 members I just saw, we shall keep it growing.

he site is California 2A focused
Gotcha. I hadn't realized there's no categories here. Just classifieds and general. I haven't logged on in a bit so not sure if that's new or not. It feels limiting in the same way that reddit is but it'll be interesting to see how the approach works long term.He never said activism, he said its more niche than the current CGN.
2A = firearms related include all the things you said. If you visit CGN, they discuss a wider range of things outside of California since many no longer live in the state and have interests outside or no longer include firearms. The two sites are different in that way.
There are categories you just have to scroll down. The top fold is the latest posts.. this keeps the trending content up top and if you stick around can go into each categoryGotcha. Ahh, okay, I see it now. I was expecting the same interface as we see in the classifieds where there's a button for categories. I never scrolled past the photos on the home page.. Maybe a similar button with an anchor tag to the categories would have cleared up the confusion. There are categories you just have to scroll down.
