I wenbt to see Randall (ar15barrels) yesterday at his home shop and had my 1950's Marlin 336 barrel cut down. I bought it used and found it had a slight bulge in the barrel right behind the muzzle. It shot okay but it bugged me. Randall cut it down to 18" and did a great job, including the magazine tube, new crown, etc. He also tuned up my Commander and fixed a S&W Model 19's cylinder that was severely sticking and hard to open. (The cylinder pin was too long and had been cut improperly by the previous owner. I had brought parts with me.) Great work and done while I waited.
