I wenbt to see Randall (ar15barrels) yesterday at his home shop and had my 1950's Marlin 336 barrel cut down. I bought it used and found it had a slight bulge in the barrel right behind the muzzle. It shot okay but it bugged me. Randall cut it down to 18" and did a great job, including the magazine tube, new crown, etc. He also tuned up my Commander and fixed a S&W Model 19's cylinder that was severely sticking and hard to open. (The cylinder pin was too long and had been cut improperly by the previous owner. I had brought parts with me.) Great work and done while I waited.

Nice!
He has done some work for us; very exacting to detail, precision machine work that has helped to produce great shooting rifles, all while we waited, and at a great price.

Nice, I may have to hit him up for something similar with my 26"XLR it's always been the plan to shorten it.

The only work I've had him do was "freedomize" two of my unthreaded AR barrels way back in the day.
