There is some reasonable expectation that a near-press-fit upper like a BCM will out shoot an upper with a looser barrel fit. And there certainly have been lowers that have been poorly machined causing malfunctions and safety issues. Vulcan/Hesse being one to mention.Everything else being equal, the number of people on this forum who would shoot any better or worse just because of the brand of the upper or lower is almost certainly zero. The number of people IN THE WORLD who would shoot any better or worse because of the brand of the upper lower can probably be counted on 2 hands.
That being said I have dozens of Poverty Ponies that work perfectly fine and have assembled dozens more for other people who have never complained about function.
