Right. If they ever wanted to truly eliminate drunk driving, every single new car sold would have to have a car breathalyzer ignition interlock installed, and all existing cars would be required to have them retrofitted with one. But they don't do that becuase they don't truly want people to not have a drink before driving.Meanwhile cars go 200 mph OVER the speed limit with touchscreens that require taking eyes OFF the road. It ain't about safety.
The technology have been available for over 20 years. Over 200,000 deaths that could bave been prevented over the past 20 years, but people prioritized having a good time out and didn't want to be inconvenienced to make other arrangements for travel.
